Scenes and personalization
Both platforms can coordinate several compatible devices. Savant Scenes can run manually, on a schedule or through supported conditions, although some security-related services cannot be included. Control4 exposes supported homeowner adjustments through Routines. Exact capabilities depend on configuration, permissions and installed integrations.
Audio, video and third-party products
Both have strong custom-integration pedigrees, but compatibility must be checked by exact model and software version. List every television, receiver, music service, thermostat, shade, lock and security panel before choosing. A successful comparison includes what happens when a product is replaced, not only whether the initial driver exists.
Infrastructure and ownership cost

Savant often appeals to owners who strongly prefer its polished interface and Apple-oriented experience. Those are tendencies, not guarantees. Choose after a documented needs analysis, interface demonstration and support conversation with the integrator who will maintain the system.
